The house is detached double-fronted in the village of St Gilles du Mene, Brittany, 22330. It is split over 3 levels. On entering the front door at the road side level there is the hall, bathroom and 2 double bedrooms each to the left and right of the bathroom. There is a spiral staircase which on going up there are another 2 rooms. On going down the spiral staircase from the road side level there is the kitchen and lounge at the back of the house. On leaving the back door there is a new decking veranda area which extends the full length of the house, which is fully enclosed with 3 gates for the safety of pets or any young children. On going down the garden steps there is a spacious garden which has a solid shed in one corner, and enjoys beautiful views over the valley and fields ahead. At the front of the house there is a small parking space, with gates at either side of the house with steps down to the rear veranda and garden. The house has a new wi-fi gas boiler installed (2 years). The house has mains electrics, water and a gas tank tucked away in the top corner level of the garden. We have loved the house and area, a perfect place for holidaying with peace and to recharge your batteries. Although on a road there is a track off which on walking down you can step into the countryside. Unfortunately, on having the diagnostic tests to sell these showed dry rot. We have had a treatment company in to do this work but have had to stop due to personal reasons. The work up to this point has involved taking areas of wall and ceilings to the bricks to expose the dry rot. Therefore, I will attach a few photos of how the house was and how it is now.
